A taste of Metsovo in a traditional recipe! Handmade cheese pie with the well-known traditional Kozani “kihi” filo pastry and rich filling that satisfies even the most demanding palates. Contains PDO Grevena Anevato cheese & PDO feta cheese! Served in 6 large or 24 small pieces.
INGREDIENTS: Wheat flour, water, mizithra cheese 18%, cottonseed oil, feta PDO cheese 4%, corn starch, Anevato cheese 3%, wheat semolina, salt, dextrose.
BAKING INSTRUCTIONS: Preheat the oven to 180-200°C (350-390°F). Place the pie with its own paper tray on the middle shelf of the oven. Bake for about 35-45 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
NOTE: Bake straight from the freezer without thawing, if desired. Not suitable for microwave cooking.
CAUTION: Thawed products – Should not be refrozen.
